Rolex subsidiary Tudor also presented its new models at Baselworld 2018. Several new additions were presented, including a completely new line. However, a model of the traditional Black Bay family caused a particular sensation.
Black Bay GMT
The GMT-Master 2 with red-blue rotating bezel was one of the much longed-for new Rolex models this year, but with Tutor you simply jumped on the bandwagon. The result is the Black Bay GMT, with a striking bezel in matt bordeaux and matt blue anodised aluminium, whose GMT function makes it possible to keep an eye on local time and two other time zones.
At the textile or leather strap the watch costs 3.390,- Euro, with riveted stainless steel strap 3.680,- Euro.
Black Bay Fifty-Eight
With the Black Bay Fifty-Eight you now also offer a little more of the vintage charm of bronze watches, which has come back into fashion again and which are now back in the product range of most manufacturers. With a case diameter of 39 millimetres, the watch is not only well suited for narrower wrists, but also ties in with the dimensions of Tudor’s first diving watches.
Its price with textile or leather strap is 3.090,- Euro, with the stainless steel strap it is 3.380,- Euro.
Black Bay S&G
The 2017 Black Bay S&G in stainless steel and yellow gold is now also available with a champagne-coloured dial. With the bracelet in stainless steel and yellow gold it costs 4.720,- Euro, with textile or leather strap 3.580,- Euro.
Black Bay 32
The new Black Bay 32 is specially designed for female wrists. Functional and elegant, it is available with a lacquered dial in black or blue and is also available with a textile or leather strap, as well as a stainless steel strap. The first two are priced at 2.290,- Euro, the complete stainless steel version costs 2.580,- Euro.
Last but not least: a completely new line was presented with “1926”. Not by chance the founding date of the company, but rather the programme, the newly created, timelessly elegant three-hand watch is intended to honour the origins of the brand. The 1926 is available in 28, 36, 39 and 41mm cases and is available in different materials and colours, as well as with diamond dial. The cheapest version of the 39mm version costs 1.690,- Euro, made of stainless steel and rose gold and with diamond dial is 3.170,- Euro.
